Features of K87 Capsule :
The K87 capsule is one of the best known condenser microphone capsules. It has been developed on the same manufacturing basis as the K67 capsule, with the only difference that the two rear plates are electrically insulated from each other.
The K87 Premium capsule of the brand “Replica Microphone” is a large-diaphragm capsule with a German-designed Mylar diaphragm. Both backplates are easily connected to the outside for use in microphones that do not require a 4-wire configuration. The Mylar film is very thin, only 6 microns, and is gold plated.
It will be a great addition to your U87 setup and will provide superior sound gain thanks to its premium finish.
