Limited Edition!
Capture the punchy sound, power and dynamics with facility!
Our M47 Fet is a faithful version of the original from the 70’s before the re-release of the brand’s model. This is the FET version of the famous tube microphone model!
Circuit delivers fast and detailed response
Our M47 FET version uses a premium and efficient detailed circuit, coupled with the K47 capsule, in dual-diaphragm with a cardioid pickup pattern. This capsule is known for its excellent dynamic response and wide frequency range. It’s just enough to enhance the sense of air and presence in your recordings, and the wide-ranging response gives you a vibrant sound that holds up extremely well to equalizing and compression.
Our design uses a high quality 2N3819 FET as the model of that time, a -10 dB pad and a low cut filter, which will be the best tool for your loud sounding recordings like drum kicks!
We also thought about mobility with the design of a quality aluminum case, ideal for your outdoor recordings or simply to preserve your microphone!
All components are carefully matched and selected in our workshop. We attach great importance to the precision of our circuits in order to be as accurate as possible compared to the original.

M47 FET Frequency Curve
Recording a bass drum yesterday using M47, first impressions are that it has high articulation at the top end and very solid punch on the bottom. Very happy with Mic and Mods so far and consider the quality up there with our original microphones.
Les micros sont toujours aussi bons avec un son dingos ! Bravo à vous et merci.
Thanks to the option to order the kit without a capsule I was able to customize it with an M7 capsule. Compared to the other kits this one is a little bit brighter than the tube-U47 (M7) and sounds a little bit more natural and balanced with my voice. The quality of the components is as excellent as in the other kits. Just follow the steps in the guide carefully and you will get a gem! Professional soldering equipment is mandatory, gloves very recommended especially for the high impedance section.
I had already bought at Mic&Mod the U47 Fet Renaissance version (designed by Atlantic Phonic) a few years ago, I didn't like too much the design with the leds, but the sound was good, with this one they correct all the flaws of the old one, I was able to compare it with a friend who has the real one, I think the clone is above!
