I make custom tube microphones, this cable is best for connecting them to the power supply. There are no problems with it.

This cable handles really nicely and is much more flexible than you'd expect for the numbers of cores it has. Even the larger core sizes are still flexible.

We used this to make some new cables for JTS JS1-Tube mics (along with 7-pin XLRs) to make better quality cables than the ones supplied with the mics. This cable didn't disappoint

when in the studio someone tripped over to cable ripping it out of the mic, the mic was a SE x1T Valve mic ( fantastic mic for what you pay... if you can find one !!) what it did was not only rip from the connector but also stretch the cable so tore the strands inside so the original cable had no reinforcement to stop this, so here we are buying this cable to replace it, great cable to work with when soldering it all the plastic sleeve does not melt down the wire leaving just a mess and the cable is also good quality, well.. its done the job perfect is strong and i am really happy with it ( and got a bit longer :-)...)

I've bought quite a few different brands of cable for my projects, but I have to admit that I love the one offered by Sommer Cable, it's very solid, and I don't have any problems with mass noise or anything else, it's perfect for my tube microphone!
