Features of TSB-2555 Capsule :
The capsule we offer here is a TSB-2555, is one of the most popular electret microphone capsules in the DIY audio community. It’s made from a medium-diaphragm alloy steel (21 mm) appreciated for its high efficiency, clean sound and smooth frequency response, ideal for making a good low-budget microphone.
The capsule comes with a special holder sold exclusively on our site, which requires no screws or glue. Simply clip the capsule in place and it will naturally fit inside.
Please note the support may have a few aesthetics imperfections (they are hand-smoothed after creation) , but it will be fully functional.

Here is the analysis graph between sound level and response frequency (Hz) developed for the TSB-2555 electret capsule. There is a slight boost in the 8-10 KHz region, it adds some extra ‘sparkle’ and ‘presence’, very interessant for this capsule size.
